Privacy Policy
Effective June 1, 2026 · CurbScore is a product of Side Quest Adventure LLC (Kentucky).
This policy explains what CurbScore collects when you use getcurbscore.com, how we use it, the third parties that help us run the service, and what we deliberately never store.
What we collect
- What you enter: your business name, your website address, your ZIP code, and your email address when you request a score or report.
- The site we grade: the public web page at the URL you submit. We read publicly available information from it to produce your report.
- Payment information: if you buy a report, your card details are entered directly with our payment processor (Stripe). We never see or store your card number.
- Basic technical data: standard request information (e.g. IP address) used to run and protect the service (for example, to rate-limit abuse).
How we use it
- To generate and deliver your CurbScore report.
- To email you your score/report and, if you opt in, follow-ups about improving your site or our services. You can opt out of marketing emails at any time.
- To operate, secure, and improve the service.
- To improve our grading over time, we keep an anonymized log of the public website data we read and the scores we produce. This log contains no personal information — not your email, not your name — only public business/site details and our grades.
Service providers we rely on
To run CurbScore we share limited data with these processors, only as needed:
- Stripe — payment processing (handles your card details directly).
- Formspree — receives the contact/score form so we can follow up by email.
- Google PageSpeed Insights API — we send the website URL you submit to Google to measure load speed.
- Google Places API — for paid reports, we send your business name and location to Google to look up your public Google Business Profile (star rating, review count, map presence) and to find nearby competitors for the report's local comparison. We send only public business details, never your personal contact information.
- Anthropic (Claude) — we send the public text of the page being graded for an automated quality assessment. We do not send your personal contact details.
- Respec Digital — our partner web studio. If (and only if) you ask us to "fix it for you," we share your business name, website, CurbScore, and the email you provided so they can follow up about rebuilding your site.
- Netlify — hosting and serverless infrastructure.
- Plausible Analytics — privacy-friendly, cookieless website analytics. It does not use cookies, does not collect personal data, and does not track you across other sites.
What we never store
We do not collect or store payment card numbers, Social Security numbers, government IDs, or other sensitive personal information. CurbScore grades websites — we have no reason to hold that data and we don't.
Cookies & tracking
CurbScore does not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. For aggregate, anonymous usage statistics we use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not collect personal data or track you across other websites.
Data retention
We keep score/lead and order records only as long as needed to provide the service, follow up, and meet legal/accounting obligations, then delete or anonymize them. You can ask us to delete your information at any time (see Contact).
Your choices
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails via the link in any email, or by contacting us.
- Request a copy or deletion of the personal information we hold about you.
Children
CurbScore is a business tool and is not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes
We may update this policy as the service evolves. The effective date above reflects the latest version.
